Onyxia 2023 Wrapped: A Year Full of Milestones, Achievements and Awards
It’s hard to believe that 2023 is coming to a close! We reached many goals this year, among the most significant — officially launching our Cybersecurity Management Platform in August. The amazing response to our product strengthens our resolve to empower CISOs with an intelligent management platform that allows security leaders to more easily measure program performance, achieve organizational compliance, and optimize tech stack coverage.
In recognition of our work, we were recognized by Gartner as a Sample Vendor in Cyber Defense Planning and Optimization (CDPO), won several awards including the "Top InfoSec Innovators 2023 Award" by Cyber Defense Magazine, and won a “Great Companies Global Business Award."
Our achievements would not be possible without the amazing leadership of our CEO and Founder, Sivan Tehila, who herself was recognized as top "Women in Business" by the Globee Awards and “Inspiring Female Founder” by NYC FinTech Women and was accepted to join the Forbes Technology Council.
Our Product
Building a first-of-its-kind product isn’t simple, but we achieved just that with our dynamic Cybersecurity Management Platform. Since we announced it our teams have been hard continuing to develop new and more advanced features for our platform and we have many exciting updates for early 2024. Our latest feature release, the Security Stack Map, enables CISOs to automatically track and measure the coverage of their security program’s products. The map charts the products in their stack and shows how they align with the pillars of the NIST compliance framework. This feature is so valuable for CISOs enabling them to instantly assess and optimize their security program by identifying redundancies, overlaps and gaps in their tech stack.
In the News
In 2023, we enjoyed meaningful coverage across a variety of mediums and publications. We contributed thought leadership to outlets like Forbes and Dark Reading and our CEO Sivan Tehila participated in an interview on Nasdaq’s TradeTalks with Jill Malandrino. We were also recognized by CSO as one of the top cybersecurity startups to watch and were featured in 6 industry podcasts, including CyberBytes and Security Architecture.
Events
We were on the ground for RSA, BlackHat and CyberWeek TLV, presented in the CISO Connect Security Shark Tank, exhibited at NY Cyber Security Summit and participated in many other cyber events. In November we hosted CISOs and Security Professionals at The Squadron for a special night with our Advisor and BOOM Supersonic CISO, Chris Roberts. A Resource For The Security Community
As part of the CISO and security community, we wanted to share our expertise and resources with everyone. We surveyed 200 CISOs and shared the results in our first-ever research report, Key Metrics to Defend Against Threats: The CISO Perspective. And with the new SEC Cyber Disclosure rules we created The SEC Cybersecurity Rules Checklist, a guide for how to ensure you maintain compliance and a checklist for what to do if your organization encounters a potential incident. We recently hosted an open webinar with our Advisor and BILL CISO & VP Rinki Sethi to address the increase of CISO accountability and how to create an effective risk management strategy.
Our Team
Last but not least our team more than doubled in 2023 with the addition of 16 new team members, from six different countries! These new team members joined various departments from R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing. We built our team on the foundation of our core values of dedication, integrity, innovation, and respect, and have made efforts to volunteer and give back to our local communities.
As our company and product continued to grow in 2023 we can only look forward to 2024 with bright eyes and high hopes for what is next for Onyxia.
