The RSA Conference (RSAC) is a celebration of the cyber community that brings together security professionals from across the world. For the first time since Covid, this show finally felt fully back to life. The excitement of this amazing experience was invigorating and has created momentous memories that will last a lifetime.

Our theme this year was “Its Showtime for CISOs” and we matched that energy throughout the full event, here are some of our highlights from the week that was at the RSAC.

The Opening Act

Days before RSAC officially began, our CEO and founder, Sivan Tehila was on the ground in San Francisco. Sivan took the time to meet with key partners and had a chance to sit down with our CISO advisor Rinki Sethi, VP and CISO of BILL, to catch up and strategize about our upcoming CISO Event.

Act II

The days before RSAC had its share of excitement, on Monday, May 6th, Cyber Defense Magazine announced the winners of their annual Global Infosec Awards. The Onyxia Cybersecurity Management Platform was awarded the Market Leader Award in the Cyber Defense Planning and Optimization (CDPO) category. Our team was on hand to receive the award and share in the celebration.

The following morning and supporting as a sponsor for its inaugural event, we took part in the Mind Over Cyber breakfast joining their mission to bring more awareness to mental health in the cyber community. They had experts on hand to lead mindfulness exercises to help reduce stress and find some clarity in the chaos of RSAC.

The Showstopper

For many on our team, it was not their first RSAC, but it was all our first time exhibiting and representing Onyxia there. Located in the Early Stage Expo among other Cyber startups, we met with many security leaders and interested partners. Visitors were given a first-hand look at the newest feature of our Cybersecurity Management Platform, the OnyxAI Cybersecurity Predictive Engine.

The Encore

There are so many great events that take place over the week of RSAC and we were fortunate to sponsor and participate in a few of the most meaningful. We joined the CISOs Connect™ Shark Tank event once again and met some amazing CISOs from this community network. Our CEO and founder, Sivan Tehila, presented to a roomful of engaged CISOs, demonstrating the many benefits of the Onyxia Cybersecurity Management Platform including our Security Stack Management, Automated Reporting, and Self-Assessment features.

The media is not excluded from this party and Sivan had an opportunity to sit down with SC Media’s Mandy Logan to share her story, the origins of Onyxia, and how we are utilizing AI to help CISOs bridge the communication gap between a security program’s data and business initiatives.

Another great event we took part in was the California Israel Chamber of Commerce’s (CICC) Israel Cyber Night where our VP of Product, Vadim Pogulievsky, shared our product vision with an audience of investors, CISOs and other security professionals.

And of course, what is a show without its amazing audience? RSAC has a way of bringing the security community together like no other event. There were so many chance encounters with great security leaders, friends, and partners that always make RSAC so much fun. It’s amazing to be a part of such an inspiring and dedicated cyber community.

RSAC 2024 was an incredible opportunity for Onyxia and the entire cyber community to grow and learn. We are so grateful for the experience and can't wait for next year!
